Andy Newton co-founded StoneSet with his sister Tori, bringing decades of hands-on experience in resin-bound paving from the UK to Australia. A world-leading resin expert, Andy has designed thousands of formulas to achieve the strongest, most beautiful finishes in the industry. With more square metres of resin-bound paving laid than anyone else in Australia, probably the world, Andy’s technical know-how is second to none.
While Andy now focuses on growing the business, he remains deeply involved in training the next generation of installers, sharing his skills and building a national network of highly skilled professionals. His commitment to quality is reflected not just in StoneSet’s products, but in the standards he sets for every project and installer.

Tori Newton has spent over 25 years in the resin-bound paving industry, working alongside Andy to build StoneSet into the Global company it is today. As a passionate advocate for education and industry best practice, Tori regularly delivers CPD presentations to architects, builders, and councils, helping professionals stay up to date with the latest in permeable paving technology and water-sensitive urban design.
Tori thrives on collaborating with homeowners, architects, and councils to bring creative, sustainable paving solutions to life. Her commitment to customer satisfaction and environmental responsibility is at the heart of every project.

StoneSet’s story began with a vision: to transform the way Australia paves its spaces. Andy and Tori Newton were present at the very birth of resin-bound paving, working alongside their father, Michael Newton, who co-founded SureSet Paving in the UK in 1997. This pioneering family involvement gave them a front-row seat to the development of the technology that would later reshape the paving industry.
Drawing on this deep technical heritage and the latest UK advancements, Andy and Tori brought resin-bound paving to Australia in 2008—adapting it for local conditions and raising standards for quality and reliability. Over the past 17 years, StoneSet has grown into a national leader, trusted by architects, councils, and homeowners across Australia and around the world

Absolutely. Our factory & head office if located in Sydney, however whether it be direct from us, through one of our distributors or Approved Installers, there’s nowhere nationwide where StoneSet’s products our out of reach!
We handle full installation & project management for commercial clients, while homeowners are supported by our trusted Approved Installers.
