Consumption Application method for Vertical surfaces;

• Mix 7% Wall Binder with the weight of the dry granules. Our Binder kits are pre-weighed with the correct ratio of stone to binder.
• Vertical Binder is used as a primer coat applying with a trowel on the wall at a rate of 150-500g/m2.
• The application surface must be dry. Do not apply in rain or snow.

Application Procedure

• Mix stone with VertiStone binder until a homogeneous mixture is obtained (approx. 2 minutes). This can be mixed by hand in a large flexitub or wheel barrow. A paddle mix can also be used.
• Apply VertiStone binder to the wall surface to act as a primer. See application rate table for usage. Limit workable area to 1m2 at a time.
• Apply a 6-8mm thick layer of the stone and resin mix, using with a trowel.
• Apply from the ground up pressing the stone granules evenly. Compress the coated surface by applying uniform pressure to the trowel. Keep smoothing off with a trowel until the stone is fixed in place.

During the vertical stone carpet application;

• For a more comfortable application, spray the granules and your trowel with white spirit.
• Clean your trowel frequently with white spirit during the application phase.
• Do not leave the packaging lid open during the application phase and open product can be saved for the next application using the packages lid open and close method.

Resin curing time
